After more than 25 years in technology and transformation, my view of leadership has become simpler, not more complicated. Be clear about where you’re going. Hire good people.
Trust them. Tell them the truth. Listen before you decide.
Make the decision when it’s yours to make. Remove unnecessary complexity. Own your mistakes.
Give people credit for their successes. And never forget that leadership isn’t about how many people report to you. It’s about how many people are better because you led them.
